Biden attends first church service as president in DC, stops at local bagel shop

President Biden attended his first church service as president on Sunday in Washington, D.C.

Biden attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the Georgetown neighborhood of the nation’s capital on Sunday alongside several family members. He has worshipped at the church over the years and said Sunday's service was "lovely."

After the service, the president’s motorcade stopped at the popular Washington, D.C., deli Call Your Mother in Georgetown. Biden was joined by his son Hunter Biden and his granddaughters Finnegan Biden and Maisy Biden, according to a White House press pool report.

The deli called the president’s visit a “GREAT Sunday Surprise” on Twitter and shared that it is “thrilled to have an admin again who will love all that DC has to offer,” appearing to jab former President Trump, who rarely, if ever, patronized local Washington, D.C., restaurants.
